The Challenge

Kisharon Langdon supports individuals with learning disabilities and autism to thrive, offering seamless education from nursery to adulthood, including supported living, social care, training, and employment. Formed in 2023 from the merger of Kisharon and Langdon, it enhances care personalisation, reduces waiting lists, and increases service quality. Serving over 1,100 people, Kisharon Langdon strives for equal rights, opportunities, and the removal of barriers.

Following initial meetings with the Marketing Team, we agreed to provide advisory services on their social media activities and initiatives.

In the short term, Kisharon Langdon required guidance on the types of posts to create (e.g. photos, reels, or stories), social media strategy, and posting frequency. These strategies were used by the social media team during National Volunteers Week and Learning Disability Week.

In the long term, the Marketing Team needed advice on adjusting their social media activities post-merger. This included recommendations on new campaign types and whether to establish a unified social media page.

The objectives:

  1. Provide guidance on types of social media posts (e.g., photos, reels, stories).

  2. Develop a social media strategy and determine posting frequency.

  3. Advise on social media adjustments post-merger, including new campaign types and the possibility of a unified social media page.

GoldenCare Media’s Approach

  1. Conduct weekly meetings, explaining the improvements that can be made on previous years’ National Volunteers Week and Learning Disability Week campaigns.

  2. Send weekly reports to the director to update on social media activity and website traffic.

  3. Gave recommendations on future online campaigns Kisharon Langdon should launch.

The results

  • 27% increase in likes per post.

  • Short term strategy on post frequency and variation implemented

  • Long-term campaign plans devised.

“GoldenCare Media has a great attitude; personable, approachable and adaptable. Our issues were heard and practical solutions were provided. This was then followed up with reporting and tracking to assess the impact of the measures put in place. A very thorough and clear process”.

“As far as agencies go, GoldenCare Media really listened and understood our issues and provided clear guidance on ways to improve. I would definitely recommend that people should talk to Gal as he is knowledgeable and approachable and can adapt his approach to suit your needs”.
